Piano Education

PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS

Building Confident, Capable Musicians for Life

At Music Keys 33, students receive individualized piano instruction designed to develop technique, musicianship, artistry, confidence, and independence.

From a student's first experiences at the piano through advanced repertoire, examinations, performances, and competitions, each musical journey is approached with purpose.

In-Person Lessons Preferred • Virtual Options Available • Ages 4–18

MORE THAN PIANO LESSONS

A Comprehensive Musical Education

Every student is unique, with individual strengths, interests, goals, and challenges.

At Music Keys 33, the goal is not simply to teach students how to play pieces.

The goal is to develop the whole musician.

Students build a strong foundation through repertoire, technique, musicianship, performance preparation, and individualized musical goals.

Some students study for personal enjoyment. Others pursue recitals, festivals, Royal Conservatory of Music examinations, competitions, or advanced musical development.

Whatever the path, the objective remains the same:

To develop musical skills that will continue to serve the student for a lifetime.

WHAT WILL YOUR CHILD LEARN?

MUSICIANSHIP

Music Theory
Music History
Aural Awareness
Sight Reading

PIANO STUDY

Repertoire
Technique
Melody Playback
Transposition

MUSICAL DEVELOPMENT

Composition
Accompanying
Chamber Music
Basic Conducting

The curriculum grows with the student.

A four-year-old experiencing the piano for the first time and an advanced teenager preparing for an examination have very different needs. Instruction is individualized so that each student can be appropriately challenged while developing at his or her own pace.

WHY MUSIC KEYS 33?

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO PIANO EDUCATION

INDIVIDUALIZED

Every student brings different strengths, challenges, interests, and goals to the piano. Instruction is tailored to the individual rather than built around a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

COMPREHENSIVE

Students learn much more than repertoire. Technique, theory, history, ear training, sight reading, and other musicianship skills work together to develop well-rounded musicians.

PURPOSEFUL

Students are encouraged to pursue meaningful goals while developing discipline, confidence, artistry, independence, and musical understanding.

BUILT FOR LIFE

The objective isn't simply to complete the next piece or pass the next level. It is to develop skills that allow students to understand, create, perform, and enjoy music throughout their lives.

STUDENT SUCCESS

Celebrating Growth at Every Level

Success looks different for every student—from mastering a first piece to stepping onto a recital stage, completing an examination, competing, or reaching an advanced level of study.

At Music Keys 33, each accomplishment represents the work, perseverance, and musical growth behind it.

A PARTNERSHIP FOR SUCCESS

Successful piano study is a partnership between the student, teacher, and family.

Parents and guardians are always welcome and encouraged to attend lessons.

Students are expected to bring:

Interest in Learning • Regular Attendance • Timeliness • Consistent Quality Practice • Completed Assignments • A Positive & Teachable Attitude

For younger students in particular, consistent parent or guardian support at home plays an important role in musical progress.

Piano study requires commitment, perseverance, and discipline—but it should also bring tremendous joy.

Work hard. Grow confidently. Make beautiful music. Enjoy the journey. 🎶

   YOUR MUSICAL JOURNEY STARTS HERE

Choosing a piano teacher is about more than finding an available lesson time.

It is about finding the right teacher, environment, expectations, and educational approach for your child.

Prospective students and their parent or guardian are invited to participate in a complimentary new-student interview with Mrs. Sara before enrollment.

During the interview, we will discuss:

Musical Goals • Previous Experience • Student Interests • Learning Needs • Practice Expectations • Lesson Length • Scheduling

The interview provides an opportunity for the student, family, and teacher to determine whether Music Keys 33 is the right fit.

There is no obligation to enroll following the interview.
