Purpose
Mrs. Sara is driven as a piano teacher by her passion and desire to play and teach skillfully artistic music. I love hearing my students’ progress and light up as they achieve their goals in beautiful music-making. Music is a gift; once it is given through training, there is no limit to what the students will impart to the world.
Objective: To train piano students to develop into skillful and artistic musicians. Inspiring students to embrace a growth mindset by encouraging them to complete exciting and challenging musical goals through adjudicated State and International exams, a variety of competitions, studio classes (including playing along with instrumentalists, dancers, artists, and masterclass opportunities with specialized teachers in accompanying and conducting), studio field trips to performances, and fun recitals!
Students will be trained to listen to music other than simply hearing it. They will also learn the art of performing and how to play with the command of the piano and their musicianship.
